What the class entails

The DIY Soap Making Class mixes craft with kitchen-safe chemistry. Melt-and-pour and cold-process foundations lead into essential-oil blending, natural colour swirls and unmoulding bars that smell as good as they look.

You leave with six handmade bars in a gift box plus the recipe booklet. Goggles, gloves and curing know-how are all handled by the studio.

What's included

  • Soap base, oils, butters and botanicals
  • Essential-oil scent blending station
  • Silicone moulds and swirl colourants

Meet your mentor

David wandered into soap-making through his botanical painting and stayed for the scent table. His blending station — twelve essential oils, no wrong answers — draws a crowd in every session.

Is it safe? I have heard lye is dangerous.

We teach melt-and-pour first (no lye handling) and demo cold-process safely with full protective gear. Safety briefing and goggles are part of every session.

How soon can I use my soap?

Melt-and-pour bars are ready in 48 hours. If you try cold-process, we explain the four-week cure and how to store bars while they harden.
